EDIT: (20 March 2024): Response from FixMyStreet (Lincolnshire County Council)..
- We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the road condition and have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this. EDIT: (11 March 2024). Brandon Road is repairs have failed.
EDIT: Noticed today (8 March 2024), the repairs are failing already after heavy vehicles have driven over them.
As we know the county has been allocated extra funding to repair our road network (£270 million).
Below are pictures of some of the repairs on Stubton/Brandon Road. It actually reminds me of a farm track!
The what three word location is ///laces.escalated.adjust
The road was closed on Saturday morning by Chevron Traffic Management. Both Chevron vehicles were parked with both drivers sat inside using their smart phones during the road closure. The pictures below were taken while the road was closed. Three hours later I collected two bags of litter and I believe no work took place during the time the road was closed.
Chevron Traffic Management vehicles (two) were also in the vicinity on Sunday and I believe no work took place!
