S25/1860 & S25/1033 are for 9 extra houses in Stubton, which will be a welcome addition in making the village sustainable.
However, the application for 4 houses on Doddington Lane was refused, because the Parish Clerk on behalf of the Parish Council argued at the planning meeting that ‘Ridge and Furrow’ fields would be compromised, which was accepted by the planners. Currently, the developer is appealing the Planning Departments decision. See: S25/1033
Subsequently, the outline application on Claypole Road for five houses is next on the list for consideration (there is a Parish Council meeting to discus the application on Thursday). Today, there is a consulate document uploaded on the planning portal for S25/1860 mentioning Ridge & Furrow, using logic I am guessing the Parish Council may argue that this development cannot take place because of ridge & furrow? If you look at arial footage – ridge & furrow is evident on both sites.
I can only imagine that S25/1860 will be passed, and S25/1033 will be granted on appeal.
