Key Applications (2025)

  • S25/1860 (Claypole Road, Stubton): Outline application for 5 new houses. Currently under consultation, with an extraordinary Parish Council meeting held on November 6, 2025, to discuss this application. 
  • S25/1468 (Brandon Wood): Use of land as a shooting ground for up to 106 days per year. Awaiting decision. 
  • S25/1033 (Doddington Lane): Outline application for 4 detached dwellings. Refused on September 26, 2025; appeal documents are available. 

Other applications include extensions, new buildings, and changes of use at various addresses in Stubton. Many have been approved, some refused, and a few are pending decisions. 


Planning Application Process in Stubton

  1. Submission: Applications are submitted to South Kesteven District Council.
  2. Notification: The Parish Council is notified and acts as a statutory consultee. They do not approve or reject applications but can comment.
  3. Review: Councillors review plans and supporting documents.
  4. Public Meeting: Comments are agreed upon in a public Parish Council meeting. The Parish Clerk submits these comments to the planning authority.
  5. Consultation: Residents can view and comment on applications during the consultation period via the council’s website.
  6. Decision: The planning authority makes the final decision, which is published online.
