Stubton Village Hall Overview

  • Village Hall: The modern brick-built Stubton Village Hall was constructed in 2000, largely funded by the Millennium Lottery Fund. The hall serves as a central hub for village activities and events, supporting the vibrant local community. The same fund also contributed to major repairs to the church tower in 2010.
  • Management: The hall is managed by a committee known as “the Hub,” which merged the Village Hall Management Committee and the Stubton Social Club Committee. Key members include Martin Davis (Chair), Cath Senior (Vice Chair), Ian Phillips (Treasurer), Jenny Taylor (Membership Secretary), Julie Bratton (Secretary), and Mike Libby (PCC Representative).
  • Charity Status: Stubton Village Hall operates as a registered charity (No. 521870) since 1963, providing services for the general public. It is managed by trustees and does not pay remuneration to them. The hall’s income and expenditure fluctuate yearly, with recent financial support from government grants. [register-o…ion.gov.uk]
