This is an email posted to all referencing the Village Hall by the Chairman.
Dear All,
As many of you know, our village hall is at the heart of our community, and we’d love to make even more of it. With around 90 members, we have a wealth of ideas, talents and interests that could help create a fantastic programme of events for everyone to enjoy.
We’re looking for your thoughts on the types of activities and events you would like to see held at the hall, both as regular events and occasional special occasions.
Some ideas that have already been suggested include:
- Quiz nights
- Games evenings
- Live music nights
- Coffee mornings
- Film nights
- Craft workshops
- Family fun days
- Seasonal celebrations
- Guest speakers and talks
However, these are just a starting point, and we’d really like to hear your ideas. No suggestion is too big or too small!
We’re also keen to organise more larger events throughout the year, but these can only happen with support from our members. If you have experience, skills, contacts, or simply enthusiasm to help organise an event, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’d like to lead an event, join a small planning group, or help out on the day, every contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Our aim is to create a vibrant programme of events that reflects the interests of our community and encourages residents to get together, meet new people and enjoy everything our village hall has to offer.
